AN OVERVIEW ON MBBS IN INDIA/ ABROAD
MBBS or doctor of Medicine is one of the most promising carriers across the globe and it is a dream job of most of the Indian student. More than 10 lakhs students appear every year for various entrance exams like NEET, AIIMS and JIPMER. There are only 31,875 seats are available across India, where nearly 31,000 MBBS seats are available under NEET for Government colleges, Deemed/Private universities and colleges but only eligible for government MBBS seats of domicile state and 15 % of these seats which is nearly 4000 seats available under all India quota.

In order to get admission in a good medical college in India the student have to go through a long process includes national score, national rank, national percentile, category rank, category percentile, state ranks and state percentile (varies state to state).
It is very challenging to get a government seat in MBBS colleges in India because the essential requirement is 98 percentile score. In private colleges for MBBS in India, 90 percentile score is required but only for those students who can afford 40 lac to 1 carore for the whole MBBS course.
So for those student, who does not wish to drop a year for another attempt or change the career, can opt for pursuing MBBS in abroad countries. Nowadays, there are numerous options for countries are available like China, Ukraine, Philippines, and Kazakhstan where foreign medical colleges offer the entire MBBS course in total budget of just 10 to 35 lakhs.
Most of these colleges are Government medical colleges and as good as any Indian medical college, these are MCI recognised and WHO approved.
